Researchers at IIT Madras have created a non-invasive tool called ARTSENS, which can evaluate central blood pressure and arterial stiffness in roughly five minutes. This device helps with early cardiovascular screening by showing how stiff or aged your arteries are compared to your actual age. ARTSENS functions by using a probe and pressure cuffs placed on the neck area to monitor the carotid artery.
