Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu announced on Tuesday that a new e-boarding pass system is now active, aimed at making international travel smoother for Indians. The requirement to get boarding passes stamped is no longer in place, allowing travelers to simply display their digital passes on their mobile devices. This change is expected to eliminate the daily use of paper for over 1.2 lakh international boarding passes.
