According to Nepal's National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, the recent catastrophic flash floods have resulted in at least 538 deaths, with more than 1,400 individuals currently unaccounted for. Among those missing are 320 Indian citizens and 100 people of Indian descent. A significant number of the missing individuals are pilgrims and foreign tourists who were en route to Mount Kailash.
