On Monday, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) pulled down the signboards of multiple shops and restaurants in Delhi's Khan Market as part of an anti-encroachment campaign. According to the NDMC, these establishments violated the Outdoor Advertisement Policy 2017 by putting up oversized signs. The Times of India reported that the operation was subsequently halted after local traders contacted the authorities.
