NDA-led states approach Supreme Court to dismiss CJP protest FIRs
Following the lead of the Delhi Police, the NDA-governed states of Bihar, Assam, Maharashtra, and West Bengal have petitioned the Supreme Court to drop FIRs registered during the CJP demonstrations. The Delhi Police had filed a similar request just one day earlier. The Supreme Court is scheduled to take up the case today.
