National flag unfurled in Chhattisgarh's Boter village for the first time

On the 80th Independence Day, the Indian flag was raised for the first time in Boter, a village in Chhattisgarh previously affected by Naxalite activity. Residents mentioned that they had never observed national holidays in the past because of the pressure and limitations enforced by Naxalites in the area. During the event, local children joined ITBP troops to wave the flag and chant patriotic slogans.
