These names, collected from individuals across the globe, will accompany the telescope on its journey to the Sun-Earth L2 point, located roughly one million miles away from our planet. The mission is currently scheduled for an August 30 launch, with NASA and SpaceX utilizing a Falcon Heavy rocket for the deployment.
