Mumbai's seven water supply lakes see 34% stock jump following intense rainfall
Heavy rainfall across Mumbai has led to a roughly 34% rise in water levels across the seven reservoirs that provide the city's supply over the past week. Since July 1, reserves have climbed from 7.18% (1.03 lakh million litres) to 41.36% (5.98 lakh million litres). Furthermore, between July 7 and the following day, the stock levels surged by 12.44%, growing from 28.92% (4.18 lakh million litres) to the current levels.
