Mumbai pav vendor has saved more than 300 lives from drowning over 35 years
A local pav seller in Mumbai has acted as a lifeguard near the Gateway of India for the past 35 years, rescuing over 300 people from drowning. Nazim Shaikh started his life-saving efforts at 16 and remains active in the role today. He explained, "Tourists come closer to the sea...If they slip and nobody rushes to help, they're gone."
