A 60-year-old man lost his life after tumbling into an uncovered manhole in Mumbai's Sakinaka neighborhood while heavy rains were underway, according to authorities. The tragedy took place as the man was reportedly walking and speaking on his phone when he inadvertently stepped into the exposed opening. Although contract laborers launched a search for him right away, they were only able to retrieve his umbrella and footwear.
