Mumbai ISKCON Temple food outlets face licence suspension due to hygiene issues

The Maharashtra FDA, headed by Tukaram Mundhe, has revoked the licences of three eateries located at ISKCON Juhu, along with a supplier connected to the IRCTC. This action follows the discovery of severe violations, including the presence of cockroaches and substandard sanitary conditions. Inspectors identified several issues, such as cockroaches found in areas where food is stored, blocked drains filled with food debris and pest droppings, as well as instances of uncovered food and staff failing to maintain proper hygiene standards.
