Ahead of the upcoming festival, Ganpati mandals in Mumbai have raised concerns regarding potholes, loose overhead wires, and traffic congestion along the paths used for idol processions. The Ganeshotsav coordination committee has requested the BMC and local police to prioritize road maintenance, secure hanging cables, and organize better traffic management. According to reports, Mayor Ritu Tawde has promised the mandals that the authorities will resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
