Mumbai electoral roll: 35% of voters at risk of removal following SIR
More than 36.59 lakh voters across Mumbai and its suburban regions are expected to be removed from the state's draft electoral roll, which is scheduled for release on August 24. These individuals represent 35.24% of the 1.038 crore total voters in these areas. Across all of Maharashtra, approximately 2.08 crore voters, or 21.25% of the total, are currently facing possible deletion following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process.
