MMRDA to add two more ring roads, increasing total from seven to nine
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is set to increase its planned ring road network from seven to nine routes. These two new additions will encompass a total distance of 307 km. Rather than constructing 307 km of entirely new infrastructure, the authority plans to connect current road networks. The eighth ring road will measure 197 km, and the ninth will span 110 km.
