According to a report by The Economic Times, Microsoft India has initiated performance improvement plans (PIPs) for approximately 2% of its workforce, which translates to roughly 400 to 500 employees. This move is said to be a component of a broader, global PIP initiative currently underway at the tech giant. A representative for Microsoft stated that staff members failing to fulfill their job requirements may face various measures, including coaching, placement on a PIP, voluntary resignation, or potential termination.
