Kranti Gaud, an Indian fast bowler who became the first woman to have her name etched on the Lord's Test bowling honours board, is a native of Ghuwara in Madhya Pradesh. The 22-year-old, whose father served as a police constable, was instrumental in helping Madhya Pradesh secure their maiden domestic one-day championship during the 2024-2025 season. After making her international debut in both ODIs and T20Is in 2025, she went on to play her first Test match in March 2026. Throughout her career, she has claimed 40 wickets across 33 appearances.
