Meet Kanhaiya Wadhawan, the 24-year-old captaining North Zone in Duleep Trophy
Kanhaiya Wadhawan, a wicketkeeper-batter representing Jammu and Kashmir, has been appointed as the captain of the North Zone squad for the forthcoming Duleep Trophy. The 24-year-old athlete first appeared for J&K during the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy season in a game against Assam. Throughout his 16 first-class appearances, Wadhawan has accumulated 883 runs and notably finished as the third-highest run-getter for his state in the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy. Additionally, he marked his T20 debut during the 2025 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
