Jagdish Aphale, a Pune native, has taken on the role of secretary for the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. He earned both his BTech in Electrical Engineering and his MTech degree from IIT Bombay. A prominent member of the RSS, Aphale currently resides in Ayodhya alongside his wife. Prior to his retirement and move back to India, he spent his career working for various multinational corporations throughout the US and Europe.
