Medanta Hospital in Noida gets notice over allegations of double-charging patient
The Gautam Buddha Nagar Chief Medical Officer's office in UP has sent a notice to Medanta Hospital, located in Noida Sector-50, following a complaint of overcharging. Prashant Kumar, who resides in Greater Noida, alleged that the hospital initially quoted him ₹50,000 to ₹60,000 daily but ended up charging him double that figure. "This gives the impression that you are misleading the public," the official notice stated.
