Mayor Tawde allows morning walkers into Mayor's Bungalow from 6–9 am
On Saturday, to mark Independence Day, Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde threw open the gates of the Mayor's Bungalow in Byculla for local residents to use for morning walks. The grounds will be open daily between 6 am and 9 am, a move aimed at helping senior citizens who struggle to find accessible outdoor spaces. Following the flag-hoisting ceremony, Tawde herself unlocked the gates to welcome the public.
