Maria Corina Machado rejects Trump's Venezuela oil agreement
Venezuelan opposition figure Maria Corina Machado has spoken out against the major oil pact between the US and Venezuela, which was negotiated by Donald Trump and interim President Delcy Rodriguez. Machado labeled the current administration as illegitimate. She maintained that the nation's 303 billion barrels of oil reserves—the biggest globally—are the property of the citizens rather than an appointed leadership. Furthermore, she cautioned that this arrangement could weaken the push for upcoming democratic elections.
