Parmeshwar Poul has played a key role in helping villagers in the Marathwada region conserve millions of litres of water. During his MPhil research, he mapped rooftops in Ahmedpur to create rainwater harvesting setups for homes that only had water access once every eight days. He later broadened this project for his PhD, covering 123 villages where he analyzed local water supplies and implemented a Water Budget system.
