Man leaves hotel career to preserve 200 indigenous seed varieties

Following a seminar on climate change, Prasanth B Barathi resigned from his hotel position in Ooty. He decided to transition his family's farm in Tamil Nadu away from chemical use toward organic practices. In an effort to support biodiversity, he has gathered 200 types of native seeds, including red okra, ribbed tomatoes, black chillies, and air potatoes. He now distributes these seeds to gardeners and farmers throughout India via mail.
