Man held for trying to extort Salman Khan using fake gang threats
According to an IANS report, actor Salman Khan was the target of an extortion attempt involving a man who used fake identities and fabricated WhatsApp messages to mimic gang-related threats. The suspect has been taken into custody and has allegedly confessed to creating these threats to scare the actor and extract money. Police have seized two mobile phones and ₹1.30 lakh from the individual.
