Major Hindu temple to debut near Paris this September
France is preparing for the opening of its inaugural large-scale Hindu temple, the BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir, located in Bussy-Saint-Georges outside Paris, in September 2026. The launch will be celebrated with a 13-day Festival of Culture running from September 2 through September 14. Mahant Swami Maharaj is scheduled to preside over the opening ceremony, which is expected to draw followers and guests from around the globe.
