Maharashtra FDA shuts down Parle Agro warehouse over expired stock
The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has sealed a warehouse connected to Parle Agro in Chembur. The move followed a late-night inspection where authorities discovered expired bottles of Appy Fizz, Frooti, and Candy Juice. Officials have blocked the distribution or movement of these products and confiscated two vehicles that were being used for transport. This operation is part of an ongoing state-wide food safety drive initiated by FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe.
