Maharashtra CM's office to move to Mumbai's Air India building following ₹1,601 cr deal
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is preparing to relocate his office from the Mantralaya state secretariat to the landmark Air India building located at Nariman Point in Mumbai. This move follows the state government's purchase of the 23-story building overlooking the sea for ₹1,601 crore last month. Additionally, all state departments that are presently working from locations outside the Mantralaya will be moved into this building, a step expected to result in annual rent savings of ₹200 crore.
