Maharashtra bans sale of 'Sting' and energy drinks near schools
On Friday, the Maharashtra government declared that the sale of the 'Sting' energy drink, along with other intoxicating items, is now forbidden within 500 metres of school premises. Narhari Zirwal, the Food and Drug Administration Minister, explained that this move addresses worries regarding how these energy drinks affect students. He added that the FDA has received instructions to ensure this rule is strictly followed.
