Maharashtra approves deployment of Sarvam AI tools for state departments
The Maharashtra administration has greenlit the integration of technology from the Indian startup Sarvam AI across its various departments, allocating ₹11.26 crore for a two-year period. As part of this agreement, the Indus AI workspace developed by Sarvam will be provided to approximately 2,500 government employees. Additionally, the company's Samvaad AI agent will undergo a one-month trial, focusing on communicating with tuberculosis patients to raise awareness using local languages.
