A 32-year-old laborer lost his life due to electrocution while setting up a power pole in Majalgaon, Maharashtra. Although the crew had been informed that the power supply was disconnected, electricity was restored unexpectedly at approximately 1 pm while they were working on the pole. Following the incident, local police have filed a case against four individuals associated with the contractor and the electricity department.
