In an effort to put an end to ghost rumors at a tribal residential school in Amravati, district officials led by Collector Ashish Yerekar stayed overnight at the facility on Tuesday. The officials shared a meal and spoke with the students to help them feel secure again, following an incident where 610 children left the hostel out of fear. The panic began after reports circulated that several female students had become 'possessed'.
