During the latest Monsoon Session, 11 out of 12 bills were pushed through the Lok Sabha in less than 15 minutes, even though several hours had been scheduled for discussion. For instance, the Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Bill was approved in just two minutes. The only exception was the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, which went nearly an hour past its 10-hour time limit.
