Leclerc exits Italian GP after collision with teammate Hamilton and later crash
Charles Leclerc’s Italian Grand Prix at Monza ended in a crash on Sunday, just three laps after he forced his future Ferrari teammate Lewis Hamilton off the track during the race start. While defending his fourth position against McLaren driver Oscar Piastri on the second lap, Leclerc’s car suffered a sudden oversteer. This caused him to lose control and strike the trackside barrier. Fortunately, Leclerc was able to walk away from the incident without any injuries.
