Law students detained for hurling papers and insulting CJI Surya Kant in court

The Delhi Police have taken two Lucknow University law students, third-year pupil Prabal Pratap and second-year student Chander Bhan, into custody for causing a disturbance during Supreme Court hearings on July 10. Pratap, who was representing himself, directed profanities at CJI Surya Kant, labeled the judges as "judicial servants," and threw documents across the courtroom. A formal police complaint was filed by a member of the Supreme Court security team, leading to the registration of an FIR.
