Kuwait police dismantle ring producing counterfeit official stamps
Authorities in Kuwait have broken up a criminal group involved in manufacturing forged government stamps. The investigation began when police linked a fraudulent seal used at a medical facility to a business located in Hawally. Two expatriates from Asia were taken into custody and admitted to providing these fake stamps to laborers at discounted rates. Officials confiscated the tools and stamps used in the operation and are currently searching for other suspects. The government has issued a warning that anyone involved in this scheme will face severe penalties, including potential deportation.
