Kin of 4 injured Delhi cops approach Supreme Court regarding protest violence
According to a report by Times Now, the families of four Delhi Police officers—among them an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) hurt during the CJP demonstrations—have submitted an intervention plea to the Supreme Court. The application demands that those who incited, supported, or carried out violence against the police be held accountable. The Supreme Court is currently reviewing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) that calls for FIRs to be registered against Delhi Police and CAPF members for their alleged use of excessive force.
