Key Indian industries set to gain from Japan's ₹1-trillion funding

Since August 2025, India and Japan have finalized more than 120 memorandums of understanding, securing investments worth approximately ₹1 trillion. This collaboration is driving growth in vital areas, including artificial intelligence, semiconductors, quantum computing, manufacturing, sustainable energy, infrastructure, and finance. Notable initiatives include a ₹400 billion deal between Shriram Finance and MUFG Bank, along with a ₹295-billion partnership between IHI Corporation and ACME Group.
