Kerala resident transforms rocky hillside into thriving lemon farm
Sulaiman, a resident of Kerala, has successfully converted 80 cents of dry, rocky terrain into a flourishing organic lemon grove featuring seven distinct varieties. After returning from the Gulf, he shifted his focus to lemon cultivation when two of his plants managed to survive despite wildlife destroying his other crops. Currently, his orchard produces between 10 and 15 kg of lemons every day during the harvest season, with some 'Ganapathi' lemons reaching weights of up to 1.5 kg.
