Kerala CM VD Satheesan reported that heavy rainfall has caused landslides and flooding throughout the state, resulting in eight deaths, eight people missing, and 13 injuries. According to Satheesan, 27 homes were completely destroyed while 196 sustained partial damage, and 5,792 individuals have been relocated to 209 relief camps. He further noted that cleanup efforts are now underway in the regions impacted by flooding and waterlogging.
