Kerala CM: Adani’s Vizhinjam Port stake sale requires state approval
Kerala Chief Minister VD Satheesan stated on Wednesday that the state government's permission is mandatory for Adani Ports to sell a portion of its stake in the Vizhinjam Port to the MSC Group. He noted that officials have not yet been formally notified regarding the transfer of shares. On Tuesday, Adani Ports revealed plans to offload a 49% stake in the port project to MSC in a deal valued at approximately $1.4 billion.
