Keisuke Honda wants Japan coaching job, promises to quit if Asian Cup is lost
Former Japanese international Keisuke Honda has put his name forward to take over as the national team's head coach following Japan's exit from the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Honda remarked, "They are looking at giving the current coach, Hajime Moriyasu, a one-year extension... why not give me a shot?
