Karnataka government to launch spoken English training in 1,919 schools
Starting this September, the Karnataka administration is set to roll out a spoken English training initiative across 1,919 state-run schools. This six-month course is designed for students in Classes 1 through 10, with a primary emphasis on improving vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence building, and overall speaking abilities. These sessions will be led by guest instructors, who will be compensated with a monthly salary of ₹12,000 each.
