Karnataka FDA inspects 10 prominent Bengaluru clubs, finds hygiene violations
The Karnataka Food and Drug Administration (FDA) conducted raids on 10 high-profile clubs across Bengaluru, uncovering several issues related to food safety and cleanliness. Among the establishments inspected were the Bowring Institute, the Karnataka State Cricket Association Club, and the Century Club. Inspectors identified numerous problems, such as kitchens in poor condition, cockroach presence, and the improper storage of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items together. Additionally, the teams found expired goods, inadequate pest management, obstructed drainage systems, spoiled produce, and a lack of proper labeling on food products.
