Karnataka Cabinet expands with 9 new faces; DK Shivakumar retains Finance and Law
The Karnataka administration has grown its Cabinet, assigning portfolios to 23 ministers. Chief Minister DK Shivakumar will continue to oversee Finance, Law, and Intelligence. Among the new appointments are nine first-time ministers, such as Narendra Swamy, who will lead the Agriculture department. Additionally, UT Khader has been named the Health Minister, and Shivalinge Gowda is now in charge of Excise. Any departments not yet assigned will stay under the Chief Minister's direct control.
