Kaif criticizes team management for benching Sooryavanshi during Ireland tour
Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif believes Vaibhav Sooryavanshi deserved an international debut during the Ireland series. Describing Sooryavanshi as an "X-factor" talent, Kaif remarked, "He was in great form [after the IPL]; he had won the Orange Cap. But you told him to serve water first." Kaif suggested that if Sooryavanshi had gained experience in Ireland, he would have been much more composed while playing in England.
