Joint India-Nepal teams search for workers stuck in hydropower tunnel
A video has emerged showing rescue personnel from India and Nepal collaborating inside the Langtang hydropower tunnel as search operations continue. The combined team has reportedly searched up to 185 metres into the structure. To support Nepal's disaster response efforts, India deployed a 13-member Indian Army team specialized in tunnel rescues. It is feared that hundreds of people remain trapped within the project's tunnels after the recent flooding.
