Jodhpur: Former NSG commando arrested with 8 kg of opium and ₹1.6 crore
A former National Security Guard (NSG) operative, Ratan Singh, has been taken into custody in Jodhpur. Authorities recovered ₹1.6 crore in cash along with 8 kg of opium latex from his residence during a search operation, according to a senior official. The police raid, linked to a drug smuggling investigation, started on Thursday night and lasted until Friday morning. Before his time with the NSG, Singh was a member of the Assam Rifles.
