JNPA flags off India’s inaugural double-stack long-haul freight train
The Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) has sent off India’s first double-stack long-haul container train, which is headed to CONCOR’s Multimodal Logistics Park in Varnama with 360 TEUs on board. This operation comes after the start of Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) services at JNPA. The move is a major milestone in boosting rail freight capacity, efficiency, and overall connectivity.
