Jharkhand HC overturns CM Soren's decision to scrap JPSC exams
The Jharkhand High Court has struck down Chief Minister Hemant Soren's directive to annul the 11th and 13th JPSC examinations and subsequent appointments. CM Soren had originally made the move following prolonged student demonstrations in Ranchi. However, the cancellation sparked a fresh wave of protests from candidates who had successfully passed the exams, as they argued the decision was unjust. Some of these candidates stated they were forced to take to the streets in response to the government's move.
