Jharkhand exam scam: Candidates paid up to ₹70 lakh for jobs, ₹15 lakh for preferred interview boards
Abhay Tiwari, arrested for his involvement in the Jharkhand state exam irregularities, has allegedly informed the CID that aspirants paid ₹15 lakh to secure an interview with a board of their preference. He further claimed that candidates were charged between ₹60 lakh and ₹70 lakh to guarantee their final selection. Tiwari has implicated high-ranking officials in the scheme, specifically naming former Jharkhand Public Service Commission chairman L Khiangte as a participant in the racket.
